Voted D 7-4
Yet was very worried about Pelosi. Was very pleasantly surprised by her speech. Hope it is followed better than Bush's speeches along the same lines. Thing is we don't even know she'll be speaker with a wave of new conservative Democrats, and she can be replaced as Speaker at any time she goes off the deep end unlike members and the President.
I would certainly not read this election as a vote for Pelosi as speaker. It's a vote for reigning in Bush on a variety of issues.
