I'm still unsure of what last night's carnage means for the 2008 race.

the Republicans are now in a much weaker position...2008 doesn't llok real good for them at this point unless the D's go insane with power lust.

The real question for 2008 now is who will emerge from the Democratic landslide to take over the front-runner position.

I still think Hillary Clinton will ultimatly be the front-runner come Primary Season. But until then, there is a small window of opportunity for Obamma and a few others.

Gore and Kerry shouldn't waste their energy trying to revive their dead political careers with Presidental runs. They would both be wasting their time. clinton will clean their clock as would "outsider" Obamma.
