True, but then If Reagan hadn’t supported the Afghan Rebels, bin Laden wouldn’t have become powerful. But then if he hadn’t supported the Afgan Rebels, the USSR could have won Afghanistan on their quest for Middle East oil. They might have gotten the whole region and we loose the Cold War.

What’s done is done. The ‘could haves’ and ‘what ifs’ don’t help the present or future. We must move on. We must learn from our successes and mistakes and move on. We can’t second guess the past. Changing one thing might have made the present better or worse. We just don’t know.

Time to move on.
