35...barely a geek pulse
What can I say? I work with tech every day, and I've developed this attitude that I run the technology, it doesn't run me. Gadgets take over your life if you let them. Maybe I'm just defending myself from getting lost in technophilia if I let down my guard.
I live and breath tech, but it's often not pretty on the inside. Sometimes I use the analogy of being a gynecologist (it's a purely male analogy ;-) ), that while from the outside it might look like the keys to heaven, it's actually not all it's...er, not what you might expect.
Or maybe I should stick with the sausage factory analogy, eh?
