Made me feel free of slavery to possessions, grateful that I have no "discretionary" income to waste on gadgetry, and verified my success at avoiding pop culture.
Incidentally, I have asked for a date via IM (and was accepted), and have raved about BSG in the workplace. I can't see anything wrong with wearing a calculator watch... but I think it's really weird, and kinda stupid, to seem to be talking to yourself in public, Bluetooth or not.
