In all my ventures into the paranormal, very little has been repeatable.
Oftentimes one event is associated with another and the phenomena repeats itself. But it is not reliable or dependable and often depends on the PSI energy of the group of individuals involved.
There is no way to verify it, unless photographs or videotape is taken (and it performs during the event, as electrical failures are the common); eyewitness accounts are taken and signed and STILL disbelief sets in, often from the experiencers themselves.
However, just as you have sky divers and bungee jumpers who push the limits of their fear and the world in which they live, paranormal researchers stifle their startle responses, swallow the fear and move through the unknown.
At times it is fascinating and uplifing. Other times you go home scratching your head and glad the four walls in your house are solid and the experiment is over.
