I was making a point.

The last time Hersh came up it was about that "massacre" at a soccer field in Iraq that turned out to be a fabrication.

The Left confidently predicted, on the internet and in articles, that there would be an "October Surprise" attack on Iran, and an article on Iran by Hersh figured prominently in this, including a statement that nuclear weapons would be used.

This also turned out to be crap.

You are cutting Bowser way too much slack. He was not making the complex point you seem to think he was, but simply regurgitating random anti-Bush statements, as though this had anything whatsoever to do with whether the Hersh story was true or not.

Incidentally, I'm curious: How many deliberate fabrications can a journalist make before his credibility suffers? What's the lower limit?
