Conspiracy theory?
I remember that. I was one of the sci-fi fans watching, although I had seen enough BG to decide I didn't like it and the news from Camp David came as a welcome relief. I did notice that the strong Egyptian symbolism in the show (pilot helmets resembling Egyptian headresses and their landing near the pyramids, etc.) as well as the Star of David squadron insignia on some of Galactica's fighters suddenly became very relevant when Jimmy, Anwar and Menachem came on screen. It was an eerie moment, and I had to keep reminding myself it was all a coincidence...or was it?
