re: Good idea
Deucalion's flood dates from 1628 BCE, roughly estimated as 1500 BCE by the ancient Greek's using their genealogical records (begat.. ruled... begat... ruled....)
[The name Deucalion is most likely Te+U+Calion=God+King+Callion~Calliste (Thera), i.l. middle bronze age] This is not a Greek version of Noah's flood, but rather a doric version of a mycenean greek flood.
According to Plato, during classical times the Greeks remembered five floods before Deucalion's flood. If any memory of these floods survivied other than Plato's mention of them, I am unfamiliar with it.
