Hi EP

I think they thought Ogyges' Flood preceded Deucalion's. Or so Clement of Alexandria reports. I've got the relevant bit of Plato in Mary Stettegast's Plato: Prehistorian which covers the whole Mesolithic/Neolithic transition c. 12,000 bp to c.6,000 bp. Was an interesting time. The whole Coherent Catastrophism concept of Napier and Klube is relevant to our recent prehistory.
