Seems the new Democratic Senate majority leader is off his meds.

In this link Reid seems to somehow all of a sudden trust the Bush administration not to misuse the authorization for additional forces and obviously has no grasp of history. If I've shown support for the man in the past I want to apologize at this time.

What's ironic though is that his statement is probably going to improve Tom's impression of him.

I just wrote my two senators (Kyl and McCain like it's going to do any good) telling them that adding troops to Iraq is a moronic move and not supported by any registered voter I know and respect. I also said that this has pushed me over the edge in deciding that impeachment of Bush and Cheney and further reduction of Republican political power is necessary now and that I will do everything within my rights as a citizen to make that happen. Felt about as fulfilling as going out in the street and screaming but it was something I needed to do.
