We ain't talkin' political decisions. We're talking military matters.

Wouldn't want the military contradicting the civilian CinC on military matters, would we? It will be nice to have unanimous military approval of the Bush plan. I think Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson and Adolf Hitler did the same thing - make military decisions and purge military men who had other thoughts as to how the military would be most effective.

I do think, however, that kiss-ass, political generals can be dangerous when the ass being kissed is that of the Great Decider.
