Hammock
I had one of those. It was great for backpacking because it would pack up to the size of a softball and had multiple uses. Many an enjoyable hour was spent in that hammock, strung between aspen trees, a small fire close enough that I could cook a hot dog without ever getting out of it. At night, all the food stuffs would go in it and I'd hoist it up a tree. When it fell apart years ago I was saddened that I could not find a replacement.
