"UNITED NATIONS (AP) - The U.N. Security Council voted unanimously Saturday to impose sanctions on Iran for refusing to suspend uranium enrichment, increasing international pressure on the government to prove that it is not trying to make nuclear weapons. Iran immediately rejected the resolution."

Some people think that any sanctions have taken too long to enact and at this point in time, Iran will get the bomb- leaving two options miltary action or living with all countries in the middle east in a nuclear arms race {and increasing the chance that nuclear weapons will be used by terrorist groups. And/or that the Iranian leader is actually speaking the truth when he claims that his country can afford the losses from a nuclear counterstrike, as long as he can kill the Jews [and in some way hasten the arrival of the "hidden Imam"]}.
I think the sanctions could work and this is welcomed news.
