Too right,
All my comms to mainland China have been up the proverbial creek the past few days. They are gradually recovering. China is discovering a flaw in its centralised and heavily supervised internet system - if you only have a few links, then a break is very painful.
In my opinion, China needs to loosen-up its internet, or at least diversify the connectivity if the country is to genuinely participate in the 21st century. It cannot continue to be the cheap workshop of the world - that mantle will pass to the next country and the next, as China becomes more developed and loses its labour cost advantage (which is already rather artificially-maintained by the exchange rate being controlled).
