re: What is the difference between a "mob" and a "jury"?

The soldiers and innocent people that die in a war usually do not get a trial. Can their deaths be considered as "murder"?

Oh. I think I found the answer to "mob" and "jury."

Jury: A body of persons sworn to judge and give a verdict on a given matter, especially a body of persons summoned by law and sworn to hear and hand down a verdict upon a case presented in court.

Mob: The mass of common people; the populace.

In other words human beings that are able to make decisions that can affect the life or death of other human beings.
