"Or will Ethiopia declare the job done, and bug out, something many think we should have done in Iraq. And then what will happen?
Not quite a laboratory experiment on Iraq policy, but in some ways close. In any case, we might learn something. "
If Ethiopia "bugs out", "The World" won't consider it responsible for what follows, but much, much more important than that is that Erhiopia isn't responsible to maintaining global security.
But I must note, that Ethiopia's miltary action has US fingerprints all over it. So we can expect to blamed in some measure for whatever the consequences that follow.
And I also note that this one more sign that *seems* to indicate that the UN is non-functioning as a body that primary purpose is to maintain peace in the world.
What I would find interesting, is the role [if any] the African Union played and will play.
