Lemme tell you a story.
There was a five year old little girl who went over to a friend's house to play. The little girl's mother called the other mother to see how the kids were doing. As is the little girl's mother's MO she engages the mother in conversation. The Mother ...we will call her Jody for simplicity,has known the other mother, Penny quite awhile. Knowing that Penny is under marital stress, Jody gently prods. Jody has learned that people love to talk about their problems. In the course of the conversation Jody finds out that Penny has a gun. In her purse. To use on her husband should he force his way in.
Jody wonders where the purse is. Jody hangs up. Jody goes and gets her daughter.
