Got a message to download Window Media Player 10.
Less than 2MB. Ok, maybe some improvements?

Got the old 'bait and switch' and the download change to WMP 11...24MB+
Not what I had in mind but it "looks" better. The changes probably came in the license agreement. Something about not playing things you don't have a "right" to...

Finally got an additional stick of 512MB DDR PC3200 RAM. Barely noticeable improvement in switching between programs. No noticeable improvement in a slightly "jerky" flight sim. My video card is a ATI Radeon 9600. Definitly not a "hot" card but I don't think it's a slouch either. (Maybe it is...)

Was the RAM worth the $50? Not for me at this point.

New to tabbed browsing. Does this save resources by having only one instance of the Browser open? i.e. Does each instance of IE opened (or when you open a link in a "new window") require a dedicated connection? Or am I way off?
