Yeah- Except, the exact opposite!
Regardless of your personal feelings about Clinton; Trade, Deficit, The Dollar, The Economy and the effectiveness of our relationships with our allies all were doing just fine during his presidency. You can say it was the global economy, congress or Magic Yetis, but you can't deny that our national performance on all of these scales far exceeds our performance over the last 6 years. Its simple history- which I know is inconvinient for ideological thinking... But fact driven analysis rarely is convinient for ideological reasoning.
