Off Topic » in reply to Since Mexico is not Muslim, perhaps the root cause of this issue, as you suggest in your examples, is not Islam, but capitalism.

Well...

...in the US the blame can be put on three things:

1. Lax enforcement of existing laws.
2. Corrupt corporations and businesses that employ illegal aliens to save money.
3. Mexico - which encourages and profits from illegal border crossing.
4. The "it's their right to be here and it shouldn't be illegal" attitude sponsored by both 2 and 3 above as well as many left-wing activist groups.

However in Europe and its Islam problem we have an entirely different set of culprits:

1. The failed French imperialist exploits and the slaughter of thousands of Algerians created a sense of "obligation" to absorb and pander to Islam.

In 1957 the view was that France "struck it rich in the Sahara" and France touted publicly it would soon be the richest nation in Europe.

Here's a quote from the official French article on the subject dating back to 1957:

"Recently discovered oil, coal and mineral deposits could make France the most prosperous nation in Europe. This article describe's France's work in opening up the desert, her plans for the future and her immense problems in a dangerously unstable area"

Hey whaddya know? "Dangerously unstable" was used to describe an Islamic area while Bush was a toddler!

This was when it was still the "French Sahara" and the 1,700,000 residents were living as "the poorest residents of the Earth right alongside Eskimos".

This is when Europes' nightmare really began. Algeria was the route the newly discovered oil and minerals would travel through to get back to France and Algerian nationalists said France had no rights to the land at all. So France fought and fought and lost. The refugees flooded into France and the rest is history. From 1957 onward after the first oil gusher struck on June 20 1956 in Hassi Messaoud, French imperialism and the desire for low effort riches doomed Europe.

So now France feels its an expert on wars with Muslims. It is much more comfortable and profitable to simply barter with any dictator or military junta than to try and stand up for democracy when in the pursuit of oil and minerals.

This is the history folks here in the US are either too young, or too uninformed to understand. And this is the history of Europe's Muslim problem.

So France turned the Algerian refugees into a de facto permanent lower class/slave class much as the US did the Africans back in the slave days a century earlier. This cheap labor was used from Nice to Dunkerque and everywhere inbetween. Maids, janitors, servants etcetera. And their numbers multiplied until they created huge ghettos in France. This is where the riots today now manifest because of a sense of inequality. These masses have watched their French socialist masters and have learned their ways - indolence, a sense of entitlement and a low work ethic. They see it all pass into lazy hands in front of them and they demand some for themselves.

The Muslim problem is different in Germany which has Muslims of Turkish origin. Germans use Turkey as a vacation destination and got used to being served by Muslims. Many Turks likewise saw the lifestyle and wealth of their German visitors and said "This is for me!" and the rush was on to Germany. The borders were much more secure prior to 1991 and reunification, afterwards many Turks used the poor border control to enter the country and seek asylum. Turks can't become citizens but they ARE for 1 years time provided housing for FREE and a certain income - just by declaring asylum. The system provides for them until their case is reviewed and they are either deported or their assistance is taken away and they have to find a job and housing of their own. As you can imagine this is massively exploited and huge emerging ghettos have appeared all over Germany since the mid-1990s.

Now these Turkish Muslims are being used in much the same manner as the Algerians. Some are excellent, learn German and speak it fluently, have a good work ethic and are valuable contributions to society. These ones are generally westernized though and the women do not wear burkhas or parade Islam. The others, refuse to assimilate, turn parts of Germany into little Islamic ghettos complete with Burkha draped women from head to toe and where the folks try to live under Sharia - Islamic law. Crime is extremely high and travel in these areas is unsafe. These are very similar to many French ghettos which are officially "police no go zones".

As you can see the USA is in a much better position when this situation is extrapolated just 30 years into the future. Mexicans only carry the burden of Catholicism (and its no birth control baggage) as well as a lower average educational level. These can be compensated for far easier than European Muslims who refuse to live in any manner resembling their European hosts and carry 12th century outlooks and laws in their homes - and try to force them on others.

;-)

Hope you appreciate this dissertation Hank. And if not, I certainly hope someone has gotten some benefit out of it. This sort of history is the stuff you usually get in a university classroom discussion when the professor hits his stride...
