Tonight is "Burns Night."

Found this out over at the National Review. January 25th is the traditional night to remember Robert Burns.

A suggested itinerary here.

Sorry, but I'm out the window when the haggis shows up. Bad enough I've had to deal with lutefisk on my wife's side of the family.

My theory on ethnic cuisine around the world still stands: it's all the things poor people had to eat after the rich people ate all the good stuff. I mean, seriously, you really think these people wouldn't rather have had the nice, juicy steak rather than the innards? Or ham instead of pig's feet?
