Not sure where Democrats have picked up the bizarre idea that there has been no political negotiations going on between the various factions in Iraq, with involvement from the U.S., other nations, and the United Nations.
Political solutions have been being pursued for over three years, resulting in elections and the beginnings of a government in which attempts are made to include widely differering points of view.
Much of the progress in Iraq politics, along with the lack of it, has been discussed here over the past couple of years. Where the hell have you BEEN all this time?
