My five year old daughter keeps getting in my bed in the middle of the night. I’ll carry her back up stairs, but come morning, she is back down in bed between my wife and I.
I don’t get mad about it (I wake up tired a lot). I just keep putting her back in her bed. One day, hopefully soon, she’ll stop. They don’t stay little for long.
Parents who do get mad at their little ones need to cool down before they punish. I don’t have a problem with spanking kids, but a parent should never spank their child when they are angry.
