We had a similiar case here...Thankfully the child didn't die; however, it had a core body tempature in the 80-80F range...
The sick bastard parents decided to punish their child by puting him in a bathtub full of cold water (with the shower running on cold).
Family services took the child and a sibbling into protective custody...Unfortunately, the mother is about to give birth to a 3rd child. They are afraid that they will not be able to take custody of that child because it has not been abused (yet).
It is incredible what bad parents will do to their own children.
