Well, if we had any common sense....
We would ask for international co-operation to guard the oil industry; divvy it up by the countries that participate and get out.
Let the Iraqis do what they do to each other. Iran will send in it's soldiers and it will keep all the Middle East busy filling in the vacuum.
Less agression towards us when you're rushing to put your finger in the dyke somewhere else.
