Here's another
The First Salute, a history of the naval 'theater' of the American Revolution -- about which I knew nothing at all, including its very existence, until I stumbled across this book. Much of it played out in the Caribbean, between the British and French fleets.
A Distant Mirror is the only other Tuchman I've read (and the only one I own). Fascinating stuff! I tried The Guns of August, but I was still in high school at the time, unaccustomed to scholarly non-fiction.
