I've posted the link twice now, but here it is again. They are weapons that were specifically manufactured in Austria, and exported legally to Iran ostensibly for internal security use. Austria has absolutely no culpability in this, unless you count gullibility.

Having these weapons rerouted to terrorists is not like finding a bunch of AK-47s laying around. This had to involve powerful factions in Iran, with access to such weaponry, if not the government itself.

One or two U.S. looted weapons used against us in Iraq is one thing. A hundred $20,000 weapons from a specific shipment to Iran is definitely a very large trout in the milk.
