That's why the repubs have got their shorts all in a wad. They are subject to fear mongering and the bullly pulpiting from the White House. They have heard that "axis of evil" speech from day One and we are creating terrorists every day the harder we try and contain them.

Anyone watch Frontline last night on PBS and see the documentary "The Missing year in Iraq?" Tells how the "insurgency" started. One mistake after another in post war Iraq, because there was NO PLAN. They sent the biggest control freak (Paul Bremer) over there to make it up as he went along and it was one disaster after another. Disbanding the Iraqi army and taking all the Baathists out of power did it. Left a big vaccum full of hatred, and lots of weapons floating around.
It's US they hate over there; we need to get out.
