Well, consider it was an act of a pathetic individual trying to impress with his power, strength, "tools". And that it is an indication of impotence, rather than an individual able to function normally.
Consider that he was acting recklessly without thought as to the consequences.
Consider that this sort of thing is regarded as offensive to most people.
Women? "Bring 'em on", he might say. And then not know what to do.
