You really think this "surge" is going to pacify the country?
In six months Baghdad will be peaceful, the government will be able to freely travel outside the Green Zone, electrical power will be on as much as it was under Saddam, and the rest of the country will be manageable without any more foreign troops than are in the country now?
Is that what you're predicting?
