To them watching a train wreck is hoping there will be a train wreck.
Calling a catastrophe a catastrophe is glorying in catastrophe.
Because they don't admit it's a catastrophe. Stick ones fingers in ones ears, close ones eyes and hum the "Star Spangled Banner" and all becomes democracy and freedom on the way.
And anyone who is brave enough to describe reality is aiding and abetting the enemy. And hoping for disaster. And undermining the Forces of Good.
It's called "True Believing". We see it 12, 15 times a day on these boards.
