I needed something that looked exactly like a dam from space. Most don't. The boat wake is way out of scale, but any smaller and it wouldn't have been identifiable.
Liquid methane's density is, I believe, about a fourth that of water, so a boat would have to be a lot lighter and larger to float properly.
