Satire
I think that most of us are savy enough to sort through the satire to get to the opinion that is expressed. In this case, it was that (as is seen elsewhere) since Mars seems to be warming, this indicates that Earth is warming not because of man's influence, but because of the sun's increased radiance.
That is what my post aluded to.
