and one I wouldn't have necessarily picked to watch had the timing not thrown me into it. My son and I went to see the movie "Bridge to Taribithia" and were blown away by the great job the director and actors did. My hesitancy to see it came from watching the trailer which did a rather poor job of portraying the essence of the film. The trailer gives one the impression of the typical teens romping through an enchanted land story, something that's been overblown in recent years. Instead the movie is a rich character study of youth in rural America and how they deal with the stress of family, school, and life.

I heartily recommend this movie to all ages.
