Thanks.

I went to High School in two towns, one 20,000 and the other 7,000 with a seasonal college student body of another 7,000.

Loved the size of the towns, could walk anywhere or ride a bike, and knew many, many people. In the college town I was a student lab assistant and as such could use the college facilities at will, albeit without permission. That was a late night and weekend process, however. Had access through the steam tunnels. Could check out vehicles from the motor pool at will, buy beer and booze from students, play tennis all night and had to steal food from the Memorial Union afterward because no restaurants were open after 10:00. (We were careful to leave as few traces as possible.) I was very tired a lot of my senior year, between work and playing.

We'd play basketball in the coliseum, the campus cops would throw us out, and we'd be back in there. Most of our parents were on the faculty, and we weren't at all destructive or hostile. It was a game to the cops, too, I think. Gave 'em something to do. Play on the trampoline in the Men's Gym, and swim to our hearts content. Cheap and good ice cream and milk shakes at the Food Technology lab, where a friends mother worked.

Don't know about stresses. Except from not enough time. Will go to see the movie.

Had forgotten about all that for a while. Thanks for the smiles.
