The Premise...and a reference

The premise of your argument, however oddly you present it, seems to be that since Bush replaced eight attorneys mid-term (mid-term being the operative here) where others have replaced fewer, that this is, by definition, some kind of moral crime.

Obviously, it isn't a legal one.

Never mind that most of the dark reasons for the dismissals are based on speculation and inference.

The Congressional Research Office has come up with a report on mid-term replacements here, which should be useful.

Again, the premise seems to be that the timing itself is evil. Never mind that two of the many attorneys fired by Clinton at the beginning of his term (beginning of term = okay) were obviously canned for ongoing investigations, not simply because they were not investigating something the president thought they should.

Unless there's a legal issue, the Left long ago lost its right to talk about moral issues. "Moveon.org" was not named for a laxative.
