I am presuming that comments such as " - - - people who don't want this war to succeed. - - - " are directed at Americans, people who pay taxes, serve their country, raise their children, recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing The Star-Spangled Banner.

I am guessing they are not directed at Iraqis who do not like their country occupied, who don't like people rampaging through their houses, torturing, killing and bombing.

Were those comments rational, coming from a person open to logical debate, able to perceive reality, cause, effect and consequences they would be even more offensive. As it is, one does, to some slight degree, consider the source.

I believe everyone wants peace, want's a peaceful Middle East, Iraqis in control of their own government, resources and destiny. One would like the war to "succeed", if it meant those things.

The reason for this war is to take away from Iraqis those matters, to see that they have a government which is a puppet of the US, to see that their resources are in the control of Western multi-national corporations, and to control absolutely their destiny.

And, there is no chance this war will "succeed" for anyone on whatever terms except for the radical Islamic agenda as long as it is being fought. We've seen 4 years of failure. Some of us are not in favor of continuing to lose a war, to deprive the Iraqis of their freedom, resources, or self-determination. That is what a war of aggression is all about.

I'd appreciate your refraining from accusing liberals of treason. I can understand you are desperate, flailing around, irrationally frothing at everything. Your Hillary post is a great example of that. You have been proven wrong at every juncture, every turn and with every development. I realise that if you could see the enormity of your errors you wouldn't show your head in public again, and on your limited behalf I realize you just don't know.

However, I'd ask you to in your misguided jingoism to quit accusing people who want to limit the suffering in this world of treason.

It is absolutely desipicable, and the people who do it are despicable for doing that.
