Happy Birthday!
I was a bit surprised to hear my English friend describe herself once as a "European". We were talking about travelling around, and the restrictions, and she pointed out that she was a citizen of a larger society.
Good show over there. (And there's no reason for Europe not to suffer under a centralized government the way some of the rest of us do.)
