Putting up with the I-told-you-sos from the anomalist crowd would be intolerable.

If that's as far as it went I could probably put up with it. But I'd be afraid Lindy would track down everyone who's given her a hard time about it and slap an "I'M AN IDIOT" sticker on our foreheads. C'mon, Lindy, go easy on me...don't you know I've already been wearing one of those stickers for ages now?
