Down Mexico way....
Both the Bush boys speak Spanish, and Jeb is married to a Mexican girl. Jeb also has a degree in Latin American studies and has lived and worked in Mexico. I don't doubt, with a ranch in Texas, that George W doesn't have Mexican farm hands and business connections too. I'm sure also that many of his Anglo business associates and neighbors and political allies are in the same boat. I'm only speculating, but I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't have much to do with his soft stand on immigration issues.
