Actually I like Ft. Lauderdale Beach a lot better.
But I was also sick of Florida.
Am working to live in both places as my future plan.
But on the beach next time.
If only for a week at a time.

I'm not much of a people person these days.
I prefer nature and the sound of crickets, rushing wind or water.
And it's spring here. The crocuses and daffoldils are up and the willows are budding and there are blooms on the trees. My favorite thing is to drive into the Hickory Nut Gorge and breathe in it's beauty.
It was staggering there during the fall with all the colors and breathtaking with icy waterfalls but now I get to watch it come back to life.

I laugh because I just went though my first winter in 30 years and now I know what "spring" is like again. Putting away the winter clothes and blankets. I have truly missed the seasons.
