"Real picture."
I don't know if TBs is a "real picture" or not, but it looks possible to have the shadow cut through the rings like that if there were the right angle. The Sun could be either coming up or going down on the outermost rings.
What I would expect, though, is more of a distinction between the umbra and penumbra. What shows is just one sharp line.
