Probably a response to back up the Brits' captured Marines and sailors. Maybe a bluff, maybe not. It reminds me a lot of the Pueblo Crisis, normally I'd say this is a really foolish move, especially now, but I'm not too partial to hijacking sailors off the high seas and if they were indeed in International waters when they were taken, then we have to do something.

I've been watching this bubbling on the back burner for the last couple of days, this is just how things get to spiral out of hand. Still, I was at the Pueblo Crisis, and if our allies are indeed in the right here, we may have to kick some butt. There are some things you just can't let slide.

The Iranians have Exocet-type weapons, and they also have Chinese Silkworm missiles. They both have counter-measures effective against them, but some will undoubtedly get through, too. This could get very ugly.
