"Unconditional Surrender"
Now, it seems to me that the withdrawal from Vietnam might well be considered "unconditional surrender" by conservatives.
After all, we quit the battlefields forever, never to return, and the Vietnamese stormed our shores.
Just as, apparently, Iraqis are trying to flee liberation and democracy Bush-style. Listening to the True Believers, ya have to wonder what's to not like?
