Geek Speak » in reply to testing ie7

Near heart attack.

Thought I'd do a little spring-cleaning with IE7. Deleted temp internet files (actually, have it set to delete every time the browser closes), deleted cookies, deleted History.

When I opened the Favorites window, there was nothing there! It took me a moment to realize that the favorites window was displaying History, which was empty. (In IE6, History was a separate drop down window.) There are three Icons at the top of the Favorites window- Favorites, Feed (haven't bothered to figure out what that is) and History. Clicking Favorites brought back my little treasures.

Needless to say, I made a hard copy of my favorites folder on floppy. Anyone else still using floppies? I wonder if a few inexpensive USB Flash drives would be a good backup medium?

How are we backing up our data these days?
