re: Backups
Still using CDs, when I remember to get around to it.
Been thinking about a 2-gig thumb drive, to transfer stuff between the home and work computers... music files, mostly. There's quite a collection that different co-workers have ripped to shared folders in their machines, but my work box only has CDR, not R/W.
Floppies? Still have a bunch, and made sure to include a 3.5" drive in this machine -- believe it or not, it cost extra -- but I haven't used one for backup in years.
