"Tom Swift, Jr., and His Flying Lab" . . .
That's the title for book 1 of the old Tom Swift, Jr., series from the 60's. Tom Swift had a long run, and is apparently still going strong. In the early years, c. 1910, his cool stuff included "Tom Swift and His Electric Spot Light." The rather extensive five (5) Tom Swift book-series spans 1910–1941 (1), 1954–1971 (2), 1981–1984 (3), 1991–1993 (4), and 2006–2007 (5). Mine was set 2, from '54–'71.
"Brains Benton" is another good series.
...or "Dig Allen Space Explorer."
Then we can go to Spindrift Island with "Rick Brant."
Just some stuff I had fun with, way back when...
