Tom' book
I hadn't realize Tom finished his book. I come here too infrequently to keep up. Just ordered the Kindle version.
I haven't read much Heinlein besides Troopers, and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. I loved both of those books. Moon is obviously not for an 8 year old, but I hadn't considered troopers. I'll have to give it a reread before deciding.
Asimov is probably pretty safe, but when I tried I Robot with him, he just didn't get it. I might try it again, but specifically choose the chapters that have more action (assuming there were some, its been a while for me too).
