So when will Iraq be able to take completely over? You know, stand up?

The uninitiated, those of us who believe that it's one hell of a security breach when someone sneaks a bomb into the Parliament building and then detonates it, might believe it bodes ill when not even a teeny-tiny part of the capital, heavily guarded, is safe.

So when can the Iraqis take over? When will the country be secure? It's been four years, and getting worse. Will it take four years of getting better? When will that start?

It's beginning to look that as the Iraqis stand up they run away. As the Iraqis stand up, the US sends in more troops.

And as the Iraqis blow up the situation deteriorates. As the Iraqis blow up, the US sends in more troops.

Isn't it supposed to be working the other way around?

To at least one of the uninitiated it seems that way. Seems like what we were promised.

Thought I'd ask. I'm awaiting the non-sequitor question now.
